About Us 


As members of EACD, We take pride in offering the best of the BROTHERHOOD IN THE APOSTOLIC RITE of the Priesthood that we can show in support of one another. We are dedicated to serving the needs of our members and offer counseling to the clergymen and there needs,assisting them in getting their church in order and to support and help those in need. God will provide. We have a panel of twelve board members are bishops and counselors.

Our Office is located at Good Hope Church 5400 Good Hope Road - Lanexa, VA. 23089  where we also hold our worship services and gatherings. Fellowship with the community. Sunday at 10am Come As You Are and be Blessed. A small church with a Big Heart. Come feel the Holy Spirit!

There have been several ordinations at the church and blessing flowed with the holy spirit with the new Deacons, Priest and consecrations of Bishops in their new journey within the ministry. All of our Bishops are validated of having an Apostolic Succession.

The EACD is an Independent Apostolic Rite with membership around the world including: USA, South America, England, Spain, India, Africa, Pakistan, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherland, Poland, Italy, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Taiwan and the Philippines.   We have grown since 2002 with over 30,999 clergymen and churches throughout the world and in spreading the gospel.

We do from time to time inter into a communion with other Diocese. We are mainly of the Anglican Rite and hold to that faith and of it's traditions there in worship in the Book of Common Prayer 1928.

Walk in the Spirit of Christ and He will guide you to the right path in leading people to the Holy Father. He will make you fisher of men cast your net upon the water and feed their souls.  

The Diocese seal was especially designed with EACD Logo and is copy write & Trademark of this Church Diocese and of Good Hope Church of USA only. The EACD is an Archdiocese and shall remain within the United States.

We are part of United Evangelical Episcopal Church in the USA that was established in 1977

Biography of Archbishop John Johnston
Born March 17,1958 in Newport News Virginia. Lived in Albemarle Country attended Albemarle High Schools in Charlottesville, VA. After High School studied Criminal Law by The Department of Criminal Justice then began a career within the Private Security, Process Service and Investigation field in Virginia; License and Registered from 1975-1996 with two offices and 38 employees, also I was sworn in as Special Police Investigator Officer with local Police Department for 5 years in Williamsburg-James City County Virginia.
I received two Award Plaques in 1996 for Executive of Business Owners of the Year. Paragon’s Who’s Who National Registry and Universal Who’s Who Publication. By this year I was also one of the top 10 Private Investigators in Virginia.
During counseling with a client and witnessing to him, God had lead me into the ministry and said it was time to do his will and not of my own. So I let my State license expired and stopped taking clients. 
Soled the company in August and went into the Seminary Priesthood in 1996.
I graduated from the Holy Cross Theological Seminary in 1998 with a Doctoral in Religious Theology and a Master’s of Pastoral Family Counseling.
I was first ordained as a Deacon in 2000, by Rt.Rev.William E.Conner Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Dallas Texas. As I continued to study at the Holy Cross Seminary. 
I was ordained as a Priest in 2001 then Rt.Rev.Bruce Campbell of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in New Rochelle, NY. 
Consecrated, as a Bishop Consecrated as a Bishop in 2002 by Archbishop Gregory Godsey of Hopkinsville, Kentucky of the Ancient Apostolic Communion, but due to problems of his Apostolic Lines of Succession that was invalid. So several others and myself left his diocese and started our own diocese.
I was voted in as the new Archbishop by six other bishops to head up a new diocese.  
In 2003 then by the Rt.Rev.Bruce Campbell consecrated me over again to make things right in the Apostolic Lines of Succession.
